- 2 cups Water
- 1 Herbal berry tea bag like raspberry, blackberry, or a mixed berry blend
- A small handful of fresh mixed berries raspberries, blackberries, blueberries
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- Honey or sugar to taste optional
- A slice of orange or lemon for extra zing optional
In a pot or saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil.
If using fresh berries, gently rinse them under cold water.
Place the berry tea bags in a teapot or directly in mugs. Add the cinnamon stick. Pour the boiling water over the tea bags and cinnamon, then add the fresh berries.
Allow the tea to steep for about 5-7 minutes. The longer it steeps, the stronger the berry flavor will be.
Remove the tea bags and the cinnamon stick. If you like your tea sweet, stir in honey or sugar to taste. Add a slice of orange or lemon for an extra zing if desired.
Pour the Winter Berry Tea into cups, ensuring some of the berries make it into each cup for added flavor and a lovely presentation.
