Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 Herbal berry tea bag like raspberry, blackberry, or a mixed berry blend
  • A small handful of fresh mixed berries raspberries, blackberries, blueberries
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • Honey or sugar to taste optional
  • A slice of orange or lemon for extra zing optional

Instructions
 

  • In a pot or saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil.
  • If using fresh berries, gently rinse them under cold water.
  • Place the berry tea bags in a teapot or directly in mugs. Add the cinnamon stick. Pour the boiling water over the tea bags and cinnamon, then add the fresh berries.
  • Allow the tea to steep for about 5-7 minutes. The longer it steeps, the stronger the berry flavor will be.
  • Remove the tea bags and the cinnamon stick. If you like your tea sweet, stir in honey or sugar to taste. Add a slice of orange or lemon for an extra zing if desired.
  • Pour the Winter Berry Tea into cups, ensuring some of the berries make it into each cup for added flavor and a lovely presentation.
