Vanilla Rooibos Latte

Equipment

  • 1 Saucepan or pot
  • 1 blender

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 Rooibos tea bags
  • 1 cup Milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 2 Honey or sweetener of your choice
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • Ground cinnamon for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  • Add the rooibos tea bags to the saucepan and let it steep for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and discard them.
  • In another saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  • Add the brewed rooibos tea, honey, and vanilla extract to the saucepan with the milk.
  • Stir well to combine and heat for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and carefully pour the mixture into a blender.
  • Blend for a few seconds until frothy.
  • Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top for garnish, if desired.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the sweetness and vanilla flavor to your preference by adding more or less honey and vanilla extract. You can also experiment with adding a dash of nutmeg or cardamom for extra flavor. Pour the Vanilla Rooibos Latte into serving cups. Serve the latte hot and enjoy!
