Thai Iced Tea

Thai iced tea is a deliciously sweet and refreshing drink that is perfect for a hot summer day. Here is a simple recipe for making Thai iced tea at home.

  • 1 Saucepan or pot

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Thai tea bags
  • 2 cups water
  • 2-3 tbsp sugar
  • ΒΌ cup condensed milk
  • ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  • Turn off the heat and add 2 Thai tea bags to the water. Steep the tea for about 5 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags from the water and stir in 2-3 tablespoons of sugar until it is fully dissolved.
  • Add 1/4 cup of condensed milk to the tea mixture and stir well.
  • Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
  • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour the tea mixture over the ice cubes.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Optional: For a creamier taste, you can also add a splash of evaporated milk to the tea mixture.
