  • 1 fine mesh strainer

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 black tea bags
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cardamom pods
  • 3 Cloves
  • 1 A small piece of fresh ginger, thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp honey to taste

Instructions
 

  • Combine water, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and ginger in a small pot. Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes to release the spices' flavors.
  • Add the tea bag or loose-leaf tea and simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Stir in milk and sugar. Heat gently until warm but not boiling.
  • Strain into a mug and serve immediately.
