Lemon Ginger Tea

- 2 cups water
- 1 inch fresh ginger root, peeled and sliced
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 lemon sliced
- 2 tea bags black tea or green tea
In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
Add the sliced ginger and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until the water becomes fragrant and slightly yellow.
Add 2 teaspoons of honey and stir until the honey is completely dissolved.
Add the sliced lemon and tea bags to the saucepan and let it steep for about 2-3 minutes.
Remove the tea bags and pour the tea through a strainer to remove the ginger and lemon slices.
Pour the tea into two cups and enjoy!
