Lemon Ginger Tea

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 inch fresh ginger root, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 2 tea bags black tea or green tea

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  • Add the sliced ginger and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until the water becomes fragrant and slightly yellow.
  • Add 2 teaspoons of honey and stir until the honey is completely dissolved.
  • Add the sliced lemon and tea bags to the saucepan and let it steep for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and pour the tea through a strainer to remove the ginger and lemon slices.
  • Pour the tea into two cups and enjoy!
