- 1 chai tea bag
- ¼ cup eggnog
- ¼ cup milk whole or your choice of plant-based mil
- 1 tsp honey or sugar optional
- â…› tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg for garnish
Heat 1 cup of water in a small saucepan until it reaches a gentle boil. Add the chai tea bag or loose-leaf chai and steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on desired strength.
While the tea is steeping, warm the eggnog and milk in another small saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently to avoid scalding. Do not boil.
Remove the tea bag or strain the tea leaves and pour the chai into your favorite festive mug.
Add the warm eggnog and milk mixture to the tea. Stir in vanilla extract and honey or sugar if desired.
Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg for a cozy touch.
