Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 green tea bags
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • Handful of fresh mint leaves
  • ice cubes
  • honey or sweetener of your choice

Instructions
 

  • Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  • Once boiling, remove from heat and add the green tea bags. Let the tea steep for 3-5 minutes, or until desired strength.
  • Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
  • In a pitcher, combine the sliced lemon, lime, and fresh mint leaves.
  • Pour the cooled green tea into the pitcher with the citrus and mint.
  • Stir well to combine the flavors.
  • Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Once chilled, remove the pitcher from the refrigerator.
  • Fill serving glasses with ice cubes and pour the Citrus Mint Green Iced Tea over the ice.
  • Add honey or sweetener of your choice to taste.
  • Stir until the sweetener is dissolved.
  • Garnish with additional mint leaves and citrus slices for an extra refreshing touch.
