Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 black tea bags
  • ½ apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1 tsp honey or sweetener of choice optional

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  • Add the apple slices, cinnamon stick, and cloves.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Remove from heat and steep the tea bag for 2–3 minutes.
  • Strain into a cup and add honey or sweetener, if desired.
