Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp loose chai tea
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • tsp ground cardamom
  • tsp ground cloves
  • tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice (adjust to taste)

  • cinnamon stick optional

Instructions
 

  • Boil 1 cup of water and steep the chai tea bags in it for about 5-7 minutes.
  • If using loose tea, use a tea infuser or a tea ball.
  • Remove the tea bags or strain the loose tea and discard.
  • In a small saucepan, heat the unsweetened almond milk over medium heat until hot, but not boiling.
  • Stir in the ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cardamom, ground cloves, and ground nutmeg into the hot almond milk.
  • Add maple syrup or your preferred sweetener and adjust the sweetness according to your taste.
  • Pour the chai tea into the spiced almond milk and whisk gently to combine.
  • If desired, use a frother to create some foam on top.
  • Pour the Chai Spiced Almond Milk Latte into cups or mugs.
  • Add optional whipped cream and a cinnamon stick for garnish.
